Down-the-hole drill is a drilling equipment widely used in construction, mining, tunneling and other projects. Its main feature is that it uses compressed air to drive the drill bit for drilling, which has the advantages of high efficiency, low noise and environmental protection. According to its working principle and structural characteristics, down-the-hole drill can be mainly divided into the following categories:
1. Pneumatic down-the-hole drill: This is the most common down-the-hole drill. Its main working principle is to use compressed air to drive the drill bit for drilling. Pneumatic down-the-hole drill has a simple structure and is easy to operate, but its efficiency is relatively low.
2. Hydraulic down-the-hole drill: Hydraulic down-the-hole drill uses a hydraulic system to drive the drill bit for drilling. Compared with pneumatic down-the-hole drill, hydraulic down-the-hole drill is more efficient, but the cost is also relatively high.
3. Electric down-the-hole drill: Electric down-the-hole drill uses electricity to drive the drill bit for drilling. The efficiency and cost of electric down-the-hole drill are between pneumatic down-the-hole drill and hydraulic down-the-hole drill.
4. Hybrid down-the-hole drill: A hybrid down-the-hole drill is a down-the-hole drill that combines three driving modes: pneumatic, hydraulic and electric. The hybrid down-the-hole drill can flexibly switch between different driving modes according to working conditions and needs to achieve the best working effect.
