Application:
It can be used in foundation construction, Piling, Water Well and Geothermal, Tunneling and Horizontal drilling. Specially the rock formation is not stable with fractures.
Working principle:
1. When drilling starts , the reamer swings out and reams the pilot-hole wide enough for the casing tube to slide down behind the drill bit assembly
2. When the required depth is reached , rotation is reversed carefully, whereupon the reamer swings in , allowing the drill bit assembly to be pulled up through the casing.
3. Casing tubes that are to be left in the drill hole should be sealed at the bottom of the hole by means of cement grout or some other sealing agent.
4. Drilling continues to the desired depth in the bedrock using a conventional drilling.

1. Where does overburden go during a mining operation?
Overburden is used for reprocessing, contouring land, and as a building and road aggregate. Mine tailings are recycled to make clay, tiles, glass, and concrete. Because of the higher temperatures at deeper depths, the overburden rock in a petroleum system sits on top of the source rock and aids in its thermal maturation. The heating rat is influenced by the burial rate, which is determined by the age and thickness of the overlying rock.
